Bad weather = bed weather. Because it's harder to pull away from the blankets! Brrrrr. It's when anything jacket-y becomes a fashion statement. Going to the shower early in the freezing morning is a display of bravery and anything steaming in the menu becomes palatable to the most discerning palate.

Sour mood is, well, SOUR. The struggle is having to manage clamping your mouth before you can say your piece about things, people, and instances that irk your ire. At the end of the day, you suspect it's the hormones. The red flag is prolly almost up. Why haven't you thought of that?

How do you know that a day went un-wasted? It's when you go home and you realize, "today was insightful". You sat down and listened to people whose best teachers are their experiences as old as time. People who, like you, is vulnerable to pain and has individual battles to combat. Theirs are "very invaluable inputs" you can use on your own. But it turned out they're toughies and you wish you have their strength. And what did you do to deserve those wis(e)dom? You just sat and listened. And it paid off.

The novelty of an experience is a world of jitters. New things always shake nerves. Whether it's new environment, new people and anything N-E-W, you become an enemy of "this will do" crap and you put up with your best behavior.

The funny thing about cramming is when you can still think of doing the least important task of the day, squeezing in a blog entry like this for instance. You wonder why you've been cutting a lot of slack and suddenly it bothers you because you are no longer that old person who's always hungry for success. This only tells you to dethrone "distraction" and relinquish the post to "focus".
